BidGig's rating system helps build trust across our entire community.
How Reviews Work on BidGig
After every completed task, both the task poster and the service provider have the opportunity to leave a star rating and written review. This two-way system keeps everyone accountable and helps users make informed decisions.
Ratings and reviews are visible on every user's public profile. They are based on verified, completed transactions — not anonymous submissions.
Finding Reviews
Reviews live directly on user profiles within the platform. To read a service provider's reviews before accepting their bid, simply click on their profile — you'll see their average rating, total number of reviews, and individual written feedback from past task posters.
Similarly, service providers can view a task poster's rating before deciding whether to submit a bid.
Our Review Standards
- Reviews must be based on genuine, first-hand experience with a completed BidGig task.
- Reviews must be honest, accurate, and free of defamatory or harassing language.
- BidGig may remove reviews that violate our Terms of Service or that we believe are fraudulent.
- Neither party may solicit or incentivise a particular review outcome.
